Eid ul-Fitr on Wednesday, June 5

Posted on: June 07, 2019 8:47 am
The new crescent moon of Shawwal has not been sighted this evening. We will complete 30 days of Ramadan.

We will be celebrating Eid al-Fitr on Wednesday, June 5th, insha Allah. Final taraweeh prayers will be held tonight, Monday, June 3.

We wish everyone in all places at all times a blessed Eid Mubarak. May Allah accept your fasting and all your efforts during Ramadan.

SBIA adheres to the traditional principle that Islamic lunar months begin and end based on the confirmed, verifiable naked-eye sighting of the new crescent moon globally.

Please note on Wednesday, June 5; Fajr Iqama Will change To 5:05 AM.
