Suspension of Salat al-Jumuah and gatherings at SBIA | Coronavirus and Covid-19

Assalamu alaikum,

As we had communicated in earlier in the week, we have been monitoring the coronavirus situation closely. The CDC and White House have issued a directive for Santa Clara County (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/white-house-coronavirus-task-force-announces-community-mitigation-strategies-seattle-santa-clara/)

Salat al-Jumuah is suspended until further notice. We encourage our congregants to pray Dhuhr at home.

We pray that Allah SWT protects the community from all kinds of diseases and grants shifa to those that are ill. Aameen.

SBIA has been providing various services to the community since 1977 including the five daily prayers at two locations (San Jose Downtown, and Harris Way) and Friday prayers at both locations.
