SBIA 2012 Elections Update

The timeline and guidelines for the upcoming elections are as follows:

Nomination forms now available to members at all 3 SBIA Jummah prayer locations every Friday through 10/26. Soft copies available via SBIA Newsletter.

Sunday, October 28        

Deadline for submitting Nomination Forms

Only hard copies of the forms, properly and fully filled out, will be considered.                                                 Nominations via phone or email will not be accepted                                                      

Sunday, November 18   

Ballots mailed to voting members 

Friday, December 7       

Candidates’ Forum at Downtown Islamic Center

Sunday, December 16   

Final date for casting ballots (at Downtown Islamic Center). 

Monday, December 17   

Announcement of Election results

The Election Committee Members are Br. AbdulKader Khatri, Br. Hasan Zillur Rahim, and Br. Waheed Siddiqee (Chairman).
