Fiqh of Ramadan Taught by Imam Tahir Anwar New Schedule: August 10th – 19th, Every Monday & Wednesday, 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Join us for a class on Fiqh of Ramadan. The following topics will covered: The rulings concerning fasting, the reality of fasting, its conditions, things that nullify a fast, and how to make up missed fasts. Also covered will be: recommended actions of fasting, actions that are disliked during fasting, rulings regarding moon-sighting, Taraweeh, the last ten nights, Laylat al Qadr, I’tikaf, and more. sbia The South Bay Islamic Association (SBIA) is one of the oldest Islamic Organizations in The Bay Area. Its headquarters are located in San Jose, CA. SBIA has been providing various services to the community since 1977 including the five daily prayers at two locations (San Jose Downtown, and Harris Way) and Friday prayers at both locations. SBIA has been active in spreading Islam through various Dawah programs and by hosting a number of activities including Weekend Islamic School, Quranic classes for children, Tafseer (English translation and Exegesis) classes for adults, conferences and community get-togethers.
