Board of Director (BoD) & Board of Trustee (BoT) 2024 Election Announcement

There will be three vacancies on South Bay Islamic Association (SBIA) Board of Directors by the end of 2024 year when the BoD term of Br. Asif Ansari, Sr. Hena Quadri, and Br. Muhammad Qamaruzzamanends. Br Asif Ansar has completed 3 consecutive terms and hence is ineligible for re-election.

There is one vacancy on South Bay Islamic Association (SBIA) Board of Trustees that needs to be filled during the 2024 elections.

SBIA is seeking nominations from motivated community members who can contribute their time, experience and expertise towards the growth and development of SBIA as one of the reputed religious and social organizations in the bay area. It is a very rewarding and high impact way to do community service while learning new skills that can enhance their own careers.

Details of the elections are also posted on the SBIA website where you can find:

1. Election Timeline, BOD and voting member criteria.
2. Downloadable Board of Nomination forms (Available from Sept 15th, 2024)
3. Youth/Student and Senior Voter Registration from (Available from Sept 15^th, 2024)

The BoD/BoT nomination Forms will be available starting Sept 15^th, 2024, and the deadline for submitting signed nominations form is Oct 20^th 2024 by 9 PM. CompletedYouth/Student and Senior Voter Registration from are also due by Oct20th 2024 by 9 PM.
