Important Community Message

Dear Community,

As many of you are aware, there are a number of anti-Muslim protests scheduled to take place tomorrow across the nation. We want to assure you that we have taken the necessary precautions to safeguard our facilities so that you can feel comfortable visiting either of our SBIA locations. In addition to being in close contact with law enforcement and public officials, we have hired security personnel to staff both our Headquarters (2345 Harris Way, San Jose) and Downtown (325 N. 3rd St., San Jose) locationstomorrow.

Finally, if you happen to be approached or confronted by a protester, please smile at them and do not respond. Through our actions and refusal to engage with these individuals, we will demonstrate our character, defuse the situation, and Insha-Allah change the protesters' perception of us.

Please inform SBIA management of any suspicious activity you may witness by emailing us at sbia@sbia.info. Insha-Allah this unfortunate episode will pass without incident, our community will emerge stronger, and the general public's attitude toward Islam and Muslims will change for the better.
